Roleplay Information
Why do you want to join FCRP? Because I love playing on roleplay servers, especially on the old ones like this server the Fort Carson roleplay, and I always wanted to roleplay on other players, and I also want to enlarge my knowledge on roleplaying
Roleplay experience (SA-MP and other games): I played on roleplay servers in almost 5 years, but on assorted servers, (I won't tell the server names due of classification and respect to them) and 4 years for being administrator, a co-owner of a roleplay server, a ban appealer, a faction moderator, gang moderator, business moderator, and complaints moderator 1 year for being a helper, and a teacher how to roleplay, and a 3 months for being a mapper
Explain Metagaming, Powergaming and FailRP:
- Metagaming is also known as MG. Metagaming occurs when a player mixed IC (In-Character) and OOC (Out of Character) together
Example:
John Morris called Joe Alister, even they didn't know each other ICly, that means that is Metagaming, in short calling a player even you didn't know each other is called METAGAMING
- Powergaming is also known as PG. Powergaming occurs when a player do something in IC (In-Character) but that is impossible IRL (In Real Life)
Examples:
1. Antonio Hernandez used a hack to fly around Los Santos, but that is impossible in real life, also hacks can also use to handicap other players.
2. Steven Taylor is injured but he can speak like he is just right, that is PG also
- FailRP is an event surrounding an action that your character commits that is not probable.
Example:
One of the most frequent cases of FailRP from the Presidential class would be walking around outside of the Nexus without a security detail. Some other examples include..
Banning certain classes from the city without a proper reason
Setting taxes beyond a reasonable percentage without proper reason
Demanding the SRU to be his security detail
Explain Deathmatching and Revenge Killing:
-Deathmatching is also known as DM, Deathmatching occurs when a player kills another player without an IC (In-Character) reason,
Results of Deatchmatching:
1. One of it results is a warn from an admin, if someone witnessed that you killed a player and /report it, and the admins saw it clearly, they can warn you
2. They can do a Player Complaints on forums, if the player is concerned about your DMing, they can post a Player Complaint on forums with a matching clear evidence
3. They can prison you, if you DMing is unstoppable, the admins would prison you
4. It can lead to an instant ban
- Revenge Killing is also known a RK, Revenge Killing occurs when a player kills the player who killed him/her before or earlier
Results of Revenge Killing
1. The player you killed can report you to an admin and set you to prison
2. And it is the same as the results of Deathmatching because RK is can be called as DM
Tip: Remember you can't remember the player who killed you because you've lost your memory.
Explain the difference between Player Kill and Character Kill:
- Player kill is a killing yourself or you've been killed but you can regenerate
- Character kill is a type of removal of character to the database base on your request and your movements that ruin the rule.
Explain the difference between /me and /do:
- The command /me is created solely for roleplay. It is a basic action command.
- The command /do has been created for roleplay. A suggested use could be to announce a sort of atmosphere.
Explain rules 1.2, 1.7 and 2.4:
- The rule 1.2 is called "No Bunny- Hoping" means jumping repeatedly in order to get somewhere faster. Jumping repeatedly without a valid IC reason
- The rule is 1.7 is called "Roleplay at all times" means players must remain IC at all times, except when involved in admin situations. Players may not go OOC on their own and as they please.
- The rule 2.4 is called "No job abuse" means failure to perform job objectives without a valid IC reason. Intentionally destroying, moving or hiding job specific vehicles.
